Dmytro Krishovsky (b. 1988, Korsun-Shevchenkivskyi, Cherkasy region, Ukraine) is a Kyiv-based artist whose work delves into the psychological and cultural aftermath of war. Known for his intricate detail and profound symbolism, Krishovsky’s graphic art examines the scars left on both individuals and nations, capturing the tension between destruction and endurance.
Through a blend of realism and allegory, his figures—often depicted in forgotten traditional garments and marked with ancient symbols—embody resilience, memory, and the deep spiritual bond between people and their land. His work bridges historical imagery with the urgent realities of contemporary Ukraine, creating a visual language of survival and resistance.
A graduate of Cherkasy State Business College and the National Academy of Culture and Arts Managers in Kyiv, Krishovsky is widely recognized among Ukraine’s leading young graphic artists. He was a finalist for the Object Art Prize (2020) and the First International Drawing Triennial (2023), and won the Second All-Ukrainian Levkas Biennial (2021). His works have been exhibited in Ukraine, Germany, the USA, and Scotland, and are held in private collections throughout Europe and North America. Krishovsky is a member of the Union of Free Artists and continues to live and work in Kyiv.
